Julia Fisher

Julia Fisher is Executive Vice President and Global Operations Director at Edelman Smithfield, where she specializes in strategic communications and transaction advisory for global firms. She counsels Boards, management and communications teams on communicating with impact and managing reputational risk during M&A, C-Suite transitions, IPOs, crises, special situations and regular course financial communications and investor relations.  Her portfolio of work also includes supporting private global capital firms. 

She also oversees the APAC region of Edelman Smithfield. 
Julia serves on the board the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) New Jersey Chapter, where she Chairs the Marketing & Communications Committee. She started her career at Church & Dwight, Inc. in Supply Chain.   

She graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a M.S. in PR/Corporate Communications where she conducted and published the first academic research on the reputational effects of regulation on financial institutions. Julia received her B.A. in Communication Studies from The College of New Jersey.
